I. Centrifugal Blower Fan Safety Inspection

---All blower fan power supply need to be turned on and disconnected.
--- Verify the installation and connection of all equipment and electrical safety devices. Examine every protective net on the blower fan; those that need nets must adhere to standards and the installation requirements in the order instructions.
--- Verify that there are no foreign objects (tools, small pieces, etc.) in the ducting of the centrifugal fan and blower.
To make sure no parts rub against one another, manually rotate the blower and centrifugal fan.
--- Verify that the belt is tensioned and that the centrifugal fan and blower pulleys are parallel and aligned.
---Check that the centrifugal fan and blower's power settings, voltage, and frequency correspond to the fan or motor nameplate.

--- Verify that the blower and centrifugal fan's access ports, if any, are closed.
---New grease must be used in the bearings if the centrifugal fan and blower have been stored for longer than six months.

II. Centrifugal Blower Fan Trial Run

Start the centrifugal blower briefly, then verify that the impeller's rotation direction corresponds with the blower's arrow. Two of the three terminals should be switched if the blower turns in the other direction. The internal connections of single-phase motors need to be adjusted in accordance with the wiring diagram or motor label.

III. Centrifugal Blower Fan Current Check

Measure the input current as soon as the centrifugal blower reaches the necessary speed, then compare it to the motor nameplate's rated current. Cut the power and stop the blower right away if the current is higher than the rated current.

IV. Centrifugal Blower Fan Operation Smoothness Check for abnormal wobbling and vibration during operation, and check for abnormal noise from the bearings.

V. Centrifugal Blower Fan Belt Check:

Stop the centrifugal blower and check the belt tension in accordance with section 6.4 after it has operated continuously for an hour. Retighten the belt if required. After three to four days of use, check the belt tension once more.

VI. Maintenance of Centrifugal Blower Fan

The operating performance parameters—maximum operating temperature, maximum shaft power, and maximum attainable speed—are specified on the centrifugal blower fan nameplate. The nameplate will additionally show the fan speed, airflow, total pressure, operating temperature, and shaft power if the customer requests it.

When only the impeller and inlet are supplied, the nameplate parameters for certain Centrifugal blower series are invalid.

VII. Safety Precautions for Centrifugal Blower Fans Before performing maintenance on a centrifugal blower fan, the following must be checked and ensured:

--- Disconnecting the motor wires

The centrifugal impeller doesn't move.

---Component surface temperatures need to be monitored to prevent burns.

During repair, keep the centrifugal blower fan from operating uncontrollably.

---The centrifugal blower fan is free of hazardous material waste.

Vibration measurement is one of the few tasks that must be completed with the centrifugal blower fan operating. During these activities, safety precautions and protective measures must be implemented.
