General handling methods for centrifugal fan and blower malfunctions are as follows:
1. When the centrifugal blower air pressure and air volume change or oscillate abnormally, first determine whether it is due to instrument malfunction or a fault in the regulating system. If it is due to a fault in the centrifugal blower regulating system, immediately switch all parallel-operated boiler fans to manual control, quickly identify the cause, and take measures to stabilize combustion to prevent boiler combustion damage or even flameout caused by air pressure fluctuations. 1. If the temperature rise is caused by damage to the blower centrifugal blades or actuator, contact the relevant authorities for repair. If necessary, stop the boiler fan. Additionally, to prevent reverse rotation after the parallel-operated boiler fan stops, the inlet and outlet dampers of the fan should be tightly closed.
2. When the blower centrifugal bearing temperature is too high, immediately investigate the cause, reduce the blower centrifugal load, and control the temperature rise. If it is caused by a lubrication system malfunction, add oil immediately if the oil level is low; adjust the oil pressure to normal immediately if the oil pressure is low. If the temperature rise is caused by damage to the centrifugal blower bearings, stop the boiler fan operation immediately. If thermal temperature protection is in place, do not deactivate the protection; if the protection has reached its activation value but has not activated, manually stop the boiler fan operation immediately.
3. When centrifugal fans and blowers vibrate, investigate the cause based on the vibration characteristics. If the vibration is caused by loose anchor bolts, tighten them if possible during operation, but take precautions to prevent bolt breakage. If it is caused by dust accumulation on the fan, reduce the fan load appropriately, close the inlet damper slightly, purge with compressed air, and shut down the centrifugal blower fan if possible. If it is caused by centrifugal blower fan stall, adjust the centrifugal blower fan back to a stable operating range as soon as possible. If it is caused by internal faults in the centrifugal blower fan or bearing damage, if the vibration does not exceed the limit, reduce the fan load and closely monitor the vibration development; if the vibration exceeds the allowable limit, immediately shut down the centrifugal blower fan.
